About This Policy
Swole Streets, formerly called Todd, is operated by Todd Labs ("we," "us"). This Privacy Policy covers the current iOS app and our public website at todd-labs.github.io/todd-legal/. Todd Labs is responsible for the handling of information described here. Contact us at support@toddlabs.info.
The app name has changed; our support address and website address still use Todd Labs. This policy describes the current release, including services that remain active from earlier releases.
Privacy at a Glance
You do not need an account, login, or email address to log workouts or play Swole Streets. Your workout records, goals, profile, and solo game progress are stored on your device. Entering or editing them does not automatically upload them to Todd Labs.
Some information does leave the device: the purchase-status service runs automatically, and you can choose to submit an issue report or send a support email. Visiting our website also sends ordinary web request information to its host. These activities are explained below.
We do not sell personal information, use fitness data for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising. The current app has no AI entry or voice transcription, does not record your microphone, and does not read Apple Health, motion-sensor, GPS, contacts, or photo-library data. Steps, distances, and other workout values are entered manually.
Local Workout and Game Information
The app stores the information you enter: a display name, weekly training target, workout names, dates and notes, exercises, sets, repetitions, weights and units, rest, durations, distances, steps, templates, custom exercises, and fitness goals. It also stores preferences, completed-goal history, notification choices, game settings, level progress, upgrade allocations, coins, owned outfits and attack colors, and backpack items.
Older installations may also retain previously entered profile fields, such as fitness preferences, experience level, focus areas, preferred workout duration, or an email address and email preference. The current app does not request an email address for a profile or upload those local fields automatically.
The app uses these records on your device to display history, calculate trends and goal progress, schedule reminders, and calculate game levels and combat stats. Story level completion is saved automatically in one default local save. Local game rewards and purchases with earned coins do not send your wallet or workout history to Todd Labs.
There is no Swole Streets account-based cloud sync or backup service. Apple device backups or transfers may include app data according to your system settings; those are separate from a service provided by us. A new installation or another device is not guaranteed to recover your records or progress.
Widgets and Local Notifications
The app copies a limited set of workout and goal summaries into local storage shared with its own widget extension. These include weekly training counts and targets, goal titles, progress, current and target values, and scheduled-day summaries. This lets widgets update without uploading those records. Widget contents may be visible to someone who can see your screen.
With your permission, iOS can show locally scheduled training, goal, and streak reminders. A reminder may also be scheduled for an older annual subscription if Apple and RevenueCat report that it is still renewing. Reminder text can reveal training or subscription information on your screen. You can remove widgets and change notification permission or preview visibility in iPhone Settings. We do not operate a remote push-notification service for these reminders.
Optional Issue Reports and Support
If you submit an issue report, the app sends the categories you select, your written description, the reporting screen or record type, app version and build, a random installation identifier, a request identifier, and local-day timing information. A report opened from a workout includes that workout's name, date, notes, exercises, sets, weights, repetitions, rest, and other recorded values. A report opened from a goal includes its title, exercise, type, target, creation date, deadline if present, and achieved status. It does not attach your entire workout history.
These reports go to Todd Labs through Supabase for investigation and support. The server stores a hashed form of the installation identifier so reports from the same installation can be associated. This is a pseudonymous identifier, not a promise that the report is anonymous: your text or fitness records may identify you. The identifier is separate from RevenueCat's identifier. Reports are not sent to an AI model. Network and hosting providers may process IP addresses, timestamps, and connection or error information while delivering and securing the service.
Reporting is optional and does not affect free access. To describe a problem without automatically attaching a workout or goal, use Profile > Report an issue. Include only details needed to explain the problem, and avoid unrelated medical details or other people's information. You can cancel before submitting.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and correspondence through our email provider. Emailing is also optional.
Purchase Services and Older Subscriptions
Workout logging, goal creation, and the game are free. Real-money outfit and coin-pack purchases are not enabled in the current build, even where the store displays a price. Spending earned game coins is handled locally.
RevenueCat's purchase service nevertheless starts automatically when the app launches and checks customer and purchase status with Apple. This can happen even if you have never made a purchase or opened the store. RevenueCat uses a randomly generated App User ID and may process app and operating-system versions, device/platform information, purchase receipts or transaction records, product identifiers, purchase and renewal status, and request or last-seen timestamps. Network requests also expose an IP address to the receiving service. These records support purchase verification, existing subscription status, service operation, and related purchase reporting.
We do not provide RevenueCat with the display name you enter in the app, your workout or goal records, game progress, or wallet balance. A random App User ID can still associate activity and purchases with the same app installation; it is not the same as fully anonymous data. Apple handles billing information under its own privacy practices. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
If you previously subscribed to Todd, the current version can still check that subscription's status. Updating or deleting the app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Manage it in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or use Profile > Subscription in the app.
Game Center and Earlier Versions
Multiplayer is not available from the current app menu. The current workout and solo game paths do not initiate Game Center sign-in, matchmaking, or exchange match data with other players. An older installed build with multiplayer enabled may still use Game Center under Apple's privacy practices and the disclosures accompanying that build.
Earlier versions also offered services such as AI or voice entry. Installing this version does not automatically erase information already submitted through an earlier version. Contact us to ask about or request deletion of older support or processing records we still hold. This policy does not authorize new uses of those earlier records.
Website Information
Our website is a static site hosted by GitHub Pages. We do not add advertising cookies, visitor analytics scripts, or third-party embedded tracking to it. GitHub may process IP addresses, browser or device information, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver and secure the site. Fonts and images are served with the website rather than loaded from an advertising or analytics provider.
The website has no support submission form. An email link opens your email app; we receive information only if you send a message. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Purposes and Choices
We use information received off your device to check purchase and existing subscription status, deliver and secure the website, respond to support, investigate reported problems, prevent abuse or fraud, and meet legal obligations. We do not use workout or goal information for advertising, sell it, or use it to train an AI model.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing services you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the app and responding to support, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required for optional processing. Those interests do not override rights protected by law. Choosing not to submit a report does not restrict your workouts, goals, or game access.
You can withdraw consent for optional processing by contacting support@toddlabs.info; this does not undo processing already lawfully performed. You can turn off notifications in iPhone Settings. Purchase-status checks currently have no separate in-app switch. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you; workout and game calculations are local informational and entertainment features.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Our service providers include:
• Apple — app distribution, iOS services, device backup or transfer when enabled, and purchase or older subscription records. Privacy information: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
• RevenueCat — automatic purchase-status checks, receipt or transaction processing, and related service and purchase reporting. Privacy information: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy-policy.
• Supabase — receipt and storage of issue reports and technical information used to operate and secure that service. Privacy information: https://supabase.com/privacy.
• GitHub Pages — hosting and securing the public website. Privacy information: https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement.
• Email providers — delivering and storing support correspondence you send.
Information handled on our behalf is limited to the purposes described in this policy. We require service providers acting as our processors to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable requirements. Apple and other providers may also handle information for their own services under their own privacy notices. We do not authorize advertising uses of your workout or goal information.
We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer with applicable notice and safeguards. We do not make your records or issue reports publicly available.
Retention
Local records remain until you delete them through an available app control or remove the app, subject to Apple backup, shared-storage, and Keychain behavior. The support installation identifier can remain in the Keychain after uninstalling.
Issue reports and support correspondence are retained according to the need to investigate and resolve the issue, follow up on recurring faults, maintain security, document a resolution, or meet legal obligations. Retention is based on these criteria, rather than a guaranteed number of days after submission. Closing a report, updating the app, or deleting a local workout does not automatically delete a previously submitted copy. You can request deletion as described below.
Purchase records and provider logs have separate retention requirements and service settings. Apple may need to retain transaction records even after an app is removed. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove copies from provider backups, which follow the provider's retention procedures.
Deletion and Privacy Rights
You can edit or delete workouts, goals, and templates using their controls in the app. Resetting game upgrade allocations refunds allocated points; it does not erase workouts, earned level bonuses, coins, or completed levels. There is no single in-app control that deletes every category of app data. Removing the app deletes its ordinary local app storage; offloading it preserves app data. Apple backups, shared storage, and Keychain entries may remain according to iOS behavior and your settings.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Todd Labs, email support@toddlabs.info. For an issue report, include its approximate date, type, and enough description to locate it. For a purchase-related request, start with the app name and approximate purchase date; do not email passwords or payment-card numbers. We may request limited additional information to locate records and verify that they concern you. We cannot retrieve local-only workouts from your phone.
Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have rights to obtain a copy, receive portable data, restrict processing, withdraw consent, and request deletion, subject to applicable exceptions. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests where applicable. Contact the same address to exercise these rights. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfill a request.
You may complain to your local data-protection authority, including an EEA supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. Exercising privacy rights does not remove your entitlement to free core app access. Deleting data or the app does not cancel an older Apple subscription.
Security and International Processing
The app sends service requests using encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to reports is intended for support and service administration. No system or transmission method can guarantee complete security; protect your device and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in reports or email.
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where applicable law requires international-transfer protections, those transfers must use an available lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. Contact support@toddlabs.info for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
Children
Swole Streets is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you are under 13, do not send us issue reports or support messages. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information can contact support@toddlabs.info to request deletion. Additional age and parental-consent requirements may apply where you live. An App Store age rating describes content suitability; it does not replace these privacy requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app, website, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current text. We will provide notice of material changes where required and obtain consent before a new use where required by law. Enabling real-money purchases, multiplayer, or new data collection will require a fresh review of this policy and the applicable App Store disclosures.
